The Miami Dolphins have traded Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans, according to the quarterback’s agency.
Miami gets a fourth-round draft pick in 2020 and a seventh-rounder in 2019, while Tennessee gets the QB and a sixth-round pick in 2019, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tannehill, 30, has spent his entire six-year career with the Dolphins. He started 11 games last season, but due to injuries and ineffectiveness eventually lost his job to Brock Osweiler, who is a free agent.
The Dolphins reportedly pursued quarterback Teddy Bridgewater recently, but he decided to return to the Saints to back up Drew Brees.
Tannehill looks to be the backup to Titans QB Marcus Mariota.
