(AllHipHop News) Coming off her historic victory at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, Cardi B picks up another industry honor. The “Please Me” performer became the first woman to win the iHeartRadio Music Award for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year.
Cardi beat out Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Travis Scott for the trophy. iHeartRadio also awarded the Bronx-bred entertainer with the Best Collaboration award for “Finesse (Remix)” with Bruno Mars.
Drake won Best Male Artist Of The Year and Hip-Hop Song of the Year (“God’s Plan”). Best New Hip-Hop Artist went to BlocBoy JB over Juice WRLD, Lil Baby, Lil Pump, and XXXTentacion.
Ella Mai took home R&B Artist of the Year, Best New R&B Artist, and R&B Song of the Year (“Boo’d Up”). Alicia Keys was presented with the Innovator Award. T-Pain served as the ceremony’s host.
