Weeks after his passing, more details have been released about comedian Brody Stevens’ death at age 48.
According to a death certificate obtained by TMZ, Brody’s cause of death was listed as hanging.
The paper revealed that he used a belt “secured through a closed door.”
The certificate noted his “history of depression and bipolar disorder” as contributing factors in his death.
Stevens was found dead at his Los Angeles home in late February.
The comedian appeared in the films “The Hangover” and “Due Date,” and was a regular at stand-up clubs in L.A.
